Z
(n) One or more z’s typed into the chat box mean, essentially, “Hurry up.” That is, “You’re taking so long you’re putting me to sleep.” The typer thinks the game is going too slowly, or is exhorting someone taking a long time to hurry up. Impatient players may type a whole line of z’s.
(n phrase) The smallest game in a cardroom or casino. Opposite of A-game.
-zilch
(n) See -nothing. “I’ve got 8-zilch.”
(n) See -nothing. “I’ve got 8-zip.”
zombie
(n) A poker player with no tells (see tell), one who has a poker face, shows no emotion, and otherwise exhibits no behavior to give away his holdings.
zone
(n) See in the zone.
zuke
(n) Toke. This term is generally used only by dealers.
